Am I understanding the Data Rate Theory correctly?
// I somehow came up with the theory myself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I will describe how I described it in my brain on leading questions/answers...
> PC (Machine) - Consists of (hardware-equipment) separate boards...
> The board as a whole consists of many microdevices (chips, conduits, lines, etc.) - which are *Conductors.
> The conductors from point A to point B goes *signal.
> These signals in their physical structure - * electric.
> Based on the fact that the signals are electrical, we can conclude that they have * limitations (because any variable has limitations, whether it is an electrical signal or a sound wave), this limitation is characterized in speed (transmission of an electrical impulse from a point A to point B).
***>>> This limitation (transmission speed) is the MAXIMUM value of the machine's performance (at least in terms of speed - that is, the speed of information transfer)
(I meant the maximum transmitted speed through electricity)
***>> > Also, the speed depends not only on what type of signal, but what type of route along which the signal passes, that is, the physical component of the route from point A to point B.
For example, in cables it is most often copper. Other transmitters may have something else...
The theory is revealed after "***>>>"

not right.
The speed of transmission of an electrical impulse is characterized approximately by the speed of light (well, with a slight deviation due to the resistance of the metal).
The speed of information transfer from point a to point b is more characterized by the frequency of pulse creation (that is, the frequency of operation of a particular controller and bus). Motherboards work with a frequency of 66, 100, 133. Processors are gigahertz, and so on.
Then comes the bit depth, how many bits per clock cycle are transmitted through different channels.
