All settings lost after windows 10 update. Why?

Yesterday, Windows demanded some kind of special update, at first it downloaded it in the background for an hour, then installed even more. After that, at first I couldn’t log in to my admin user (turning it off helped), but now I went in and then walked like napalm - the desktop is completely bare, all browser settings, bookmarks, passwords, etc. have been lost.

Go to C:\Users\ and look for your user there, look in his folder and look for your files there.
Most likely just an account glitch, and the update just coincided with the glitch.
