All apps in android?

In android there is a menu "All applications" (button at the bottom left) and all installed programs are shown there. When there are a lot of them, it is not very convenient to navigate. Is there a way to put things in order there, create folders, sort and so on? Phone htc desire, there are root rights, but could not find where it's all stored.

If you are ready to sacrifice the sensation, you can install Go Launcher EX. You can create folders in it.

Use a third party app such as Folder Organizer . Though you might find something better.
In HTC, they did not work very well with applications at all, in SGS it is much more convenient, the scrolling is horizontal-page-by-page and can be grouped by pages.
