AJAX request add to cart?

Good afternoon, tell me please, I have an article there there is a description and an arbitrary price field, I need to do what would be added to the cart when I click on the add button, and when I click on the cart, it gives out a list of what is added.
Tell me how can I get an array of data so that I can pass it to AJAX

Isn't it easier to take WooCommerce where all this has already been done correctly? It is not worth sawing commercial mechanisms if there is no knowledge and experience of 5-10 years in the subject. It is better to take ready-made good components and build on them.
