The cooler on the router makes a lot of noise, I took it apart, cleaned it of dust, lubricated the cooler and after 2 days it started to cool again at maximum speed...

A solution was found after a couple of years, the fan stopped working and I replaced it, it didn’t help, I replaced the power supply and everything began to work fine and silently.

Why - maybe something is heating up somewhere, or maybe the temperature sensor is failing.
I propose to use a Chinese fan speed controller, such as this
. Just look carefully how many wires the fan is - if it is three-wire, then you need to choose the three-wire controller accordingly. Or two-wire.
And wrap it with blue duct tape! :)
