After reboot, ubuntu does not see the usb keyboard, you have to reconnect it

After one of the latest updates, ubuntu stopped seeing the keyboard right after the system booted. You have to climb behind the system unit to pull out and re-insert the usb plug of the keyboard. In parallel, there is Windows in it there is no such problem.
OS: ubuntu 10.10
