Adequate for requirements in vacancies?

I look at vacancies for the position of layout designers, and often they are submitted with the following requirements:

  1. Layout of sites (on WordPress and OpenCart) and one-pages according to the designer's PSD layouts
  2. Implementation of modules and additional functionality for various CMS (mainly WP, Joomla, OpenCart) (online chats, image galleries, functional dynamic elements of various kinds, etc.)
  3. Current edits on sites, namely: adding sections to the site, pages, menu items, creating feedback forms, inserting maps, updating plugins and the CMS itself, creating xml and html sitemaps, editing robots.txt, editing htaccess, placing counter codes , creating CNC, setting up redirects, changing the design of individual elements of the site, troubleshooting in its work, transferring the design and functionality of the site from one cms to another, etc.

Is this generally normal? Since when should layout designers deal with backing (in the form of cms)?

What's abnormal? Who needs a clean layout today? People need websites ready, the product is complete, not html / css.
Pretty normal job. For a long time I have not met people who only make up, or only put the layout on the CMS. What is the point of hiring 2 people if there are a huge number of people who will do everything together?
Of course, when you integrate the layout on the CMS, you need to connect additional. modules, without the second paragraph in any way. And, of course, the site must be ready to go, with all CNC, counters, maps, htaccess/robots, etc. I don't see any problem here at all. And something like that, for which extra. payment is needed.
Since 2012, I have ordered more than 20 sites/shops/landings on freelance, all on CMS, and everywhere the scheme is the same - I give a layout, a person gives me a ready-made site on a turnkey basis. The rates were always average, 20-30 performers responded to the order ... so what the hell do you need a pure html layout designer who can’t connect to WP and the slider, especially to the office?
15k is not enough, of course (even for a cleaner), but 30-40k is the average salary for something like this for me (if the flow is established). In general, I also recently flipped through vacancies, today they pay an average of 25k for this, only Bitrix is required instead of WP and Opencart. So yes, this is normal, this is how the market decided, conveyor layouts / riveters of sites today receive fewer loaders.

The vacancy describes the "ideal candidate". And then maybe, and this. If you pass 70 percent, you can respond. They can be written, collecting requirements even from different departments) What would you like to see in a candidate? And you?
IMHO: Everything related to CMS is not very good anymore. The requirements are too high, the salary is too low, the competition is big.

Fine. For a long time. If you don't want to do this, look for a job as a pure layout designer.

The employer does not care about the conventions and restrictions that someone invented for himself. He has a problem to solve. That's all.
