AD domain = website domain, problems?

I named the domain ActiveDirectry by analogy with the external domain of the company.com site, so now it is not possible to access the site.
Question - Will the AD domain break if the A record of the root domain is changed to the IP of the external server where the site is hosted?

Based on the results of almost six months of testing this scheme, everything is ok.
The only inconvenience is the need to duplicate DNS records on Windows DNS.

@yellowmew

the question was raised repeatedly
different solutions:
1. create a _http.tcp entry in the dns of the srv domain from the IP of your site. when accessing http: //site.ru, the external IP address will be substituted
2. create a www entry with the IP address of your site in the domain.ru zone.
users within the network access the site via www.site.ru
3. on the domain controller, redirect to IIS to your site
4. rename the domain
