Active Directory, how to add second level local address?
Hello, I am implementing an Active Directory + DNS server based on Windows Server 2019 at my work, as soon as I started studying this topic and ran into a small problem.
The domain is called firma.ooo
I need to go to the site: site-1.local to send me to a specific internal server, for example, to 192.168.10.200, but when I add an A-record to the domain, I get site-1.firma. ooo, but I need it to be just site-1.local.
Tell me how to do it?
Answer the question
In order to leave comments, you need to log in
1. Create a local DNS zone and an entry in it.
Or
2. Create a site-1.local entry. in the firma.foo zone
The domain is called firma.oooextremely bad decision if you are not the owner of this domain. before you do it, you need to think so that you don’t have to figure out how to redo it normally.
