How to link a domain to a subdomain?

There is a hosting and a website on it. The service is running on the hosting subdomain random-fio.home-develop.ru. There is a random name.rf domain. How would I tie this domain so that random-fio.home-develop.ru opens when switching to it?

you prescribe dns such as in the subdomain, then in the subdomain panel you add this domain as an alias.
I usually did the opposite - the domain as the main one, and the subdomain as an alias

For randomname.rf, a CNAME type record is created containing random-fio.home-develop.ru (in this case, the “A” type record, if any, must be deleted).
This is done through the admin panel of the domain registrar randomname.rf, or whoever serves this domain there.
On the web server serving random-fio.home-develop.ru, you need to add randomname.rf as one of the site aliases random-fio.home-develop.ru ("server_name random-fio.home-develop.ru randomname.rf" for nginx or "ServerAlias randomname.rf" for apache, it's also worth adding www.random-fio.home-develop.ru b www.randomname.rf).
