The simplest and most correct option is VPN. The laptop connects and accesses the entire internal network, you can work in a great way. If there is a desire and, most importantly, the ability to confuse more strongly, then Direct Access is such a tricky Microsoft VPN that is always connected as soon as the laptop gets on the Internet. From the point of view of users, it’s very cool, because everything just works. From the point of view of configuration, it is very difficult, you need to fulfill many requirements for the infrastructure.

You can try via RDP (TS Gateway solution), and bind a laptop disk to the RDP connection. This will allow you to fumble your disk on a remote system under the system user.
This solution requires a domain and Win Server 2008 R2

You can also try the simplest VPN solution - Hamachi . It is enough to put a softinka on a machine with a shared folder, on a laptop and enter them into one virtual network.
