Access to hidden bios settings for HP laptops and more?

Lord. I recently needed to enable full virtualization on my laptop and tweak some settings in the BIOS.
But the standard BIOS does not provide access to such settings.
I had to dig into the BIOS firmware assembler through IDA and write a parser to figure out how to get to the desired settings.
In general, I won.
Question: I'm new to Habré and I'm wondering if such an article is needed?
