At a special conference on May 26, 2010, representatives of the Ministry of Communications and BelGIE tried to clarify some of the pressing issues of registration of Belarusian sites, mailboxes and other information systems to the press, providers and hosting providers.
If you provide an Internet service on the territory of the Republic of Belarus or using the resources of the national segment of the Internet, the so-called Bynet, then your information network, system or resource with which you conduct this activity must be registered in the prescribed manner and the technical means of this systems, networks or resources must be located on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
If the service is provided to a non-resident of the Republic of Belarus outside the territory of the Republic of Belarus, then the decree does not establish separate exemptions in this case. The business entity itself has the right to determine who will provide these services to it.
