About wacom graphire 4 (cte-440), its strange work and drivers
Good day.
In cunning ways, in tenacious paws, we managed to get the aforementioned tablet for several days in order to play around, but we couldn’t get it to work. I’ll say right away that I tried it in ubuntu, vin7, vinhp and the last makosi.
The bottom line is that he somehow detects the pen badly: as soon as he detects the pen, he immediately clamps the mouse button. That is, the normal operation of the tablet is until you touch it, you move the cursor, and as soon as you touch the surface, it starts drawing. Immediately after installing the latest drivers, as soon as it detects a pen at a distance of a centimeter from the working surface, it immediately clamps the mouse.
At the same time, it draws as if I do not click on it. But as soon as you start to put pressure on the surface, it begins to work out the degree of pressure. It infuriates that the cursor cannot be moved - it always draws. Moreover, it draws with both ends of the tablet - it does not detect a zhepka like a wash.
How is this done and what could possibly be wrong? Probably a karachun came to visit the tablet?

Something with the pressure sensor apparently? In ubuntu, the pressure sensor settings can be manually tweaked, as in other systems - I don’t know, I haven’t tried it. If it wasn't Wacom, I would suggest changing the batteries in the pen. What if you have a Chinese fake?
And how on other computers with the same tablet?
