A real person as a prototype for a character in a (mobile) game?

Hello.
Is it possible to use the first name, last name and exact appearance (for example, of an athlete) in your game without having permission (of this person) to use it in the game, and still not be sued by this person?
Also interested in if the answer to the question above is negative. Maybe there are some workarounds, for example, using only the external features of the character, while changing the name?
Thank you!

IMHO a normal game and without real personalities is good
in fact, but
if you don’t use photos / videos, you won’t be sued for similarity because it’s not provably
the exact name is not worth it,
but the Chinese with Abibas seem to hint at
the main thing, indicate that all matches are random

without permission

It is forbidden.
And so - it is possible. But you need to be ready for the court, and no matter what detours.

Do you need it? You don't need it. Take an example from DC. They came up with some kind of random city and they are fine. You can come up with your own hero, what's stopping you?
