A multilingual site with your own articles?

How best to make a multilingual site (Wordpress) where each language will have its own articles - their own authors.
For example:
https://deutsch.rt.com/
https://russian.rt.com/
Is the easiest way to make your own WP installation for each language on the subdomain or is there a more elegant solution?

If WP is not for YOU, then it’s better not to go into multisite, believe me, this is good advice.
If you still get a little bit into WP, then here is a good plugin - WP Multilang - two projects on this plow like hell.
The most delicious thing about this plugin is the awesome language management, there is nothing similar in any working plugin on this topic! You will understand when you create content!
