A good translator for Mac OS X?
Greetings to all Khabrovchan, there was an urgent need to translate text on a working Mac. Google and Yandex are stubbornly silent. I need an analogue of Prompt, I can’t find it in any way. Please advise alternatives, the price does not play a role. We need a translation of texts, not a dictionary. Online translators are not suitable.

The only thing I know is TranslateIt , but it's so-so, frankly. You never know, suddenly it will help / like it.
I've been using Ultra Translator for over a year now to quickly translate a word or a sentence, although small texts can also be translated. He is perfect for this task.
There is a great resource.
LinguaLeo here is my link http://lingualeo.ru/r/8bcodl .
From this site there are plugins that are built into the browser (I have them in chrome and ff).
When you double-click on a word, on the site you are viewing, the translation is shown along with the transcription of the word. This is so cool. To this is also the audio sound of the word.
The site itself has a lot of English videos, audios and books.
I've been using it for almost over a year. Very satisfied.
There are also free and paid courses.
I don’t pay for anything and work in almost all the services offered by the site.
I don’t work for this site, but I paint it this way because I understand the problem )
Although I think many people here already know about it anyway ))
Better late than never :) Offline translator for Mac is out: www.promt.ru/translation_software/mac
I use Google translator: I just open the site, paste the text and get the translation.
True, this approach has one drawback - when you switch to the browser window, you have to spend an extra action on choosing the window where the text is inserted. It is easy to treat - open the js-console (⌘⌥C - Safari, ⌘⌥J - Chrome and ⌘⌥K - Firefox) and paste the code:
This code focuses on the input window every 5 seconds - so you can get the translation by simply switching to the browser window and pressing ⌘V
