How to build OpenCV on OSX?

I welcome everyone!
The task is to make a simple program with computer vision in c ++ under osx.
- downloaded the opencv3 archive for osx
- built it all in the root with the help of two commands: cmake .; make;
Something has come together, many new folders/files have appeared, including many files with the .dylib extension.
Next, I try to do hello world in xcode or just in a file via cmake as in these tutorials:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVSPfUmNyOw
https://blogs.wcode.org/2014/10/howto-install -buil...
But nothing happens - include always doesn't see h-nicknames =(
Now a little about myself. All my life I worked with languages of a higher level of abstraction, other smart people solved infrastructure problems for me. Now I'm faced with a real programming language and feel a bit helpless. I look forward to your tips.
Please explain to me the essence, and then I myself.
- what is dylib? Are these the assembled components?
- what did cmake do with opencv? did he build it in the same folder or did he register something somewhere in the system?
- what are header search paths? why /usr/local/include?
- what are library search paths? why /usr/local/lib?
- is it possible to connect opencv sources without cmake?
Inside the CMakeLists.txt for the project:
- what is find_package( OpenCV )? Where does it get that "OpenCV" from?
- where do the OpenCV_INCLUDE_DIRS and OpenCV_LIBS envy come from?
Well, the final main question:
- how to correctly connect different libs to a c ++ project?
I will be eternally grateful.

Everything is there, but in file/project settings change the path from custom location on the shared location and write down the path to the build folder.
