A bit about vpn technology. Is openvpn secure?
Hello.
Tell or give Russian-language articles on openvpn. The internals don't bother me much as I'm just a regular user. Therefore questions for the most part "explain to a teapot".
And a few specific questions:
- As I understand it, openvpn makes almost the mesh itself, only with a remote computer. That is, it can be configured at the router level?
- Can some applications, such as skype, bypass the VPN? (roughly understanding the technology, I mean that they cannot.)
- Can the browser, for example, using JavaScript, learn something specific about the user (ip address, or some data about my computer, except for localization and resolution).
- Is it possible to configure a specific computer in such a way that when it is turned on, all connections go through vpn? (elementary os, based on ubuntu 12.04)
