A/B split tests in Google Tag Manager - is it possible?

Is it possible to A/B split test in GTM? Google Analytics, when trying to create an experiment, says that the site does not have the GA code installed (naturally), and it is not recommended to install GTM and GA at the same time (I read it somewhere).

Umm .. Google itself made GTM so that GA can be installed through it :)
Natively!
So don't sweat it and do it the right way.

Installing GTM and the analytics code will double the stats.
