3G modem not working on Linux?
I'm on Elementary OS 0.4, it's based on Ubuntu 16.04.
There is a Beeline ZTE MF667 3G modem, I insert it into the PC, go to the connection settings, create a network, select the "Mobile" type, but the device is not displayed.
usb-modeswitch and usb-modeswitch-data are present in the system.

Sufficient nutrition.
It is determined and assigned ports, then immediately flies - most likely at the time of connection to the operator's network - the power consumption rises and the port resets the power.
But this is so, guessing by dmesg :)
