2 servers for 2 domain?

Such implementation interests:
There are 2 servers.
On 1 - the main version of the site.
On 2 - additional version (mirror).
2 bases communicate with each other by replication.
When the 1st server crashes, everything is handled by the 2nd and vice versa.
Tell me how to do this? Thank you.

This is called load balancing - a third server is installed that will pull traffic, Nginx is installed on it and a trivial config is prescribed.
