Zyxel Keenetic Ultra II router - is it suitable for IP telephony?
I welcome everyone.
We are preparing for the transition to VoIP telephony (so far through the virtual PBX of Rostelecom). Accordingly, the question arose of the need to replace network equipment, since now the office network is a terrible "noodles" of four unmanaged DLinks connected by a train. With the switch, everything is quite clear - we take something managed \ smart with VLAN, PoE and QoS functionality. But what about the designated Zuksel - in general, he is completely satisfied with the office of 15 people in terms of work stability, but what about VoIP? Will it be enough to trick him a little, for example, disable SIP ALG? Or, for stable and intelligible incoming and outgoing sounds, something more serious and flexible is required, i.e. with a normal QoS setting (and not incomprehensible automatic IntelliQos)?

First, ask RTK how trunks will come to you: via the Internet using a white server IP or a separate VLAN from a regional data center.
If the first, then yes, you will need to bother with QOSs and queues.
If the second, then just forward the Vlan to the phones. D-glitch will cope with this
