Zimbra. New mail notifications
I'm trying to install and I'm facing the same problem.
There are two mailboxes, say [email protected] and [email protected]
, the mail that comes to them is decomposed into many folders, including nested ones, tags are also assigned, like "manager1", "manager2".
for [email protected] and [email protected] mailboxes, the inboxes are shared for [email protected] and [email protected], and they simultaneously work with mail that arrives at [email protected] and [email protected] using the web interface.
everything is great, they see read, unread letters, they see tags and they can change them and move them to other folders, though they can’t change the filters themselves, but you can put up with this, but with the fact that there are no notifications that they have arrived new letters, life is difficult (i.e.
There is a simple option, when new mail arrives at the [email protected] and [email protected] mailboxes, letters with a notification of new mail fall on the [email protected] and [email protected] mailboxes, as a result, the manager first sees a pop-up window that a new letter has arrived, opens his inbox mailbox, marks the letter as read, and then starts looking for where the letter itself is in the shared folders [email protected] and [email protected], and this is inconvenient.
is there some way for managers to get new mail notifications in their [email protected] and [email protected] inboxes, just like they get new mail notifications in their inboxes?
And then the second problem appears, there are a lot of folders, there are subfolders, if there is an unread letter in the folder, then this can be understood by the folder title
but not by the title of the root folder, when there are dozens of folders and dozens of subfolders in them, the search for unread letters can be very annoying, is it possible to achieve that the root folder also has a mark of an unread message?
