Zabbix doesn't work, more precisely I can't set up eventlog[system] under WIN OS, how can I do it?
Good afternoon, I want to set up a log audit on the 2008r2 server, but it doesn’t work,
the agent that is installed on Windows writes at
"c:\z\zabbix_agentd.exe" --config "c:\z\zabbix_agentd.conf"
--print eventlog[system ] m : ZBX_NOTSUPPORTED
please help
here is the config
Server=192.168.56.102
# ServerPort=10051
# Unique hostname. Required for active checks.
# The same name is written in the host name in Zabbix as a client
Hostname=win2008
# Listen port. Default is 10050
ListenPort=10050
# Name of log file.
LogFile=c:\zabbix\zabbix_agentd.log
# Maximum size of log file in MB. Set to 0 to disable automatic log rotation.
LogFileSize=10
Answer the question
In order to leave comments, you need to log in
1) eventlog - active check, if I'm not mistaken, it cannot be "knocked out" via zabbix_get ;
2) In the agent configuration, one of the required items is the key " ServerActive=<zabbix_server_address> ". An example of your configuration:
Server=192.168.56.102
ServerActive=192.168.56.102
# ServerPort=10051
# Unique hostname. Required for active checks.
# Этот же нейм написано в имени host в заббиксе как клиента
Hostname=win2008
# Listen port. Default is 10050
ListenPort=10050
# Name of log file.
LogFile=c:\zabbix\zabbix_agentd.log
# Maximum size of log file in MB. Set to 0 to disable automatic log rotation.
LogFileSize=10
