Yii 2 creating your own module?

Suppose I want to create my own module, which I then want to load as a vendor for any project.
What do I need for this? Is copying the generated GI module not an option? Can you clearly explain?

You may not have a problem with a module, but with work through git? Then this is a completely different song and yii has nothing to do with it.
