Yandex does not want to stop indexing the HTTP site, and we are still waiting for it to redirect to HTTPS - is it worth continuing to wait?
We are switching the site to work on HTTPS. Yandex indexed most of the pages from the site using the https:// protocol, but it still continues to index something using the http:// protocol: The
number 18 is constantly changing, sometimes getting bigger or smaller.
We are all waiting for the appearance of zero (0) there - but maybe it’s not worth waiting for? A month has passed already, can you set up a redirect from http:// to https:// and that's it? Or is it risky?
Initially, what we did:
1) Installed and configured the purchased SSL certificate, tested it - everything works.
1) Host was written in robots.txt : https://oursite.ru
2) In the Yandex.Webmaster panel, https://oursite.ru was added next to the main one and the https:// site was made the main mirror of the http:// site
Yandex moved more than 3,000 pages from http:// to https:// in a month
