Xubuntu and other distributions, problems with fonts on sites cannot be fixed?

There are sites where fonts run into each other, blocks move out, although everything looks beautiful in Windows / OS X;
Does anyone here write frontend on linux like this? is there life?

У вас наверное не хватает шрифтов в системе, и из-за этого используются дефолтные, которые могут сильно отличаться.
