Xfce alive or dead?

I needed Linux on a laptop, and having experienced disgust after trying out Unity, I decided to put myself a time-tested, long-loved Xfce. Seeing that the current version is still 4.10, which is at least two and a half years old, I had certain suspicions that the project was dead, but I did not find confirmation of it on the Internet) Maybe someone knows or share a link?

Judging by the activity in the bug tracker , the project is alive.

Alive. Works great. And there is no better.
UPD: Install Xubuntu 14.04 right away.

Everything is great with him.
In general, I advise an even lighter shell - IceWM. I've been using it since KDE died.

It's alive, it's just growing slowly. Slowly trying to migrate to GTK+ 3. although I would suggest Awesome.
