Xen networking?
Good day, dear gentlemen,
There was a question that could not be resolved on our own and by Google, I had to ask for advice.
There is a server on which XEN is installed, ubuntu 10.04 is installed in the guest (with two network interfaces), one of the network interfaces is assigned an address from the local network range, the second one via dhcp is the address of the xen virtual network. The address, which is assigned an ip from the local area, is pinged and allows you to log in via ssh to it, etc. generally behaves well.
There was a task, to come on this ip not from a local network, and through VPN. VPN is already available, configured, and perfectly lets users into the internal network, according to all protocols, it would seem that there are no problems, BUT it is not possible for a client connected via VPN to enter the server that is a guest in XEN, using any protocol ... What to do?
PS In fact, I tried a lot of things, including port mapping using iptables, nothing happened. I determined that through tcpdump packets from the VPN client reach the server, but do not go back. But from the guest host, I can access the client's VPN.
I really need help, if clarifications, configs are needed, I will send it. Thank you in advance
