Xbox 360 - Router - Win7 How to ensure interoperability?
Actually the problem:
there is a last box, a
desktop and a laptop under Win7 included in the same home group, an
asus wl500w router with firmware from Oleg,
all the required ports are open on the router, multicast is enabled, boxing is perfectly promised with live.
At the same time, the box does not see the shared media libraries, although it should. (Shared as in the instructions via WMC).
On both computers, the xbox 360 media device is visible.
After several attempts to add a box to the WMC, the home group fell off altogether, when creating a new one, it is not possible to add a second computer, the procedure for connecting to the home group is not completed. Such a problem occurs when initiating the creation of a DG from any computer.
How to win this thing? Can anyone come across?
Thanks in advance.

Can you elaborate on sharing the media library? For me, op just works as a media center extender. Although lately I have been using the Playstation Media Server more, which works great with boxing as well. And there are no problems with formats / codecs.
The network settings of the desktop and laptop are probably different from those on 360. Bring them to a general view and everything will work. You don't need to touch the router.
When I set myself up, the problem was in the network mask, if I'm not mistaken.
Firewall not blocking ports? Try to cut it out altogether, if it exists.
I tried to chop off the firewall node, all to no avail, I manually specified the IP mask on the laptop and box, everything is the same
