WSUS - how to remove rejected updates?

Good day. Available Windows 2012R2 with WSUS installed. Everything works, computers are updated, updates are approved automatically in accordance with the specified groups and rules. There are approximately 4800 rejected updates, the WSUS folder has swollen up to 324 GB, there is a desire to clean it up. Server cleanup wizard doesn't clean up anything, tried several PowerShell scripts, but they do the same thing, i.e. nothing.
So far I've come up with two options:

  1. Through wsusutil.exe movecontent F:\WSUS F:\WSUS\wsus.log -skipcopy (addresses are conditional) change the location of the WSUS folder, then do wsusutil.exe rese t and wait for the update to complete.
  2. Another option is to stop the WSUS and IIS service, delete the WsusContent folder and reset wsusutil.exe - but this is somehow quite rude and ugly.

How can I cleanly remove rejected updates and reduce the size of the WSUS folder?

So, as always - he asked, he answered.
Failed to cleanly delete rejected updates - how to win
unknown. As a result, the WsusService service was stopped, the WsusContent folder was deleted , and the command c:\Program Files\Update Services\Tools\WsusUtil.exe rese t was executed - the download of updates began, it will be necessary to check how much space they will take after completion. Good hint here , including in the comments.
