Write a "News List" component, is the logic correct?

Good day! I will not ask for help or ask for a solution to the issue, I need to get feedback from you in terms of my implementation, thanks in advance to everyone.

Task: Write a news component. The component should display a list of news and tabs by year based on the added news.

I never wrote components, I always used api in the code. There are no questions in terms of news output. In terms of filtering by years, I plan to do this: pass the get parameter to the getlist filter, to make it in the form of links. Is this use case possible or are there better options? Thanks to everyone who replied.
