Would tunneling all traffic through OpenVPN help?

Good day.
What do we have?
There is a computer with the Internet from Yota
There is a computer with GPON on a router, from a router on 2 computers. These computers are in the same city as me.
What is this for?
Because yota increasingly leaves much to be desired, it was decided to do something about it, but I don’t really rummage around in networks, I decided to clarify.
Question: If you put an openVpn or softEtherVpn server on 1 of the computers from the router, and put the client on the c yota computer, and connect and pass all traffic through the tunnel, will there be an improvement? This means will packets be lost less, delay, overall speed, will torrents be cut off, will there be an improvement in online toys? Will there actually be a profit?
If so, why? If not, why not? If anyone has links to manuals, I will be grateful.

If I understand correctly, you and Yota want to connect to a remote vpn server.
Speed, packet loss and channel width will not improve, since all traffic goes through the channel provided by Yota anyway.
The ability to use some protocols banned in Yota, yes, it will appear. Since Yota will not be able to look inside encrypted traffic and will not be able to distinguish torrent from http.

on habré in their off-blog it is written that they do not cut vpn traffic, but in reality it turns out not to be so.
only ssh tunnel + openvpn helps.
