Would overclocking the chipset help add support for faster memory?

Would overclocking the chipset help add support for faster memory?
For example, the chipset supports a maximum of 1333MHz, and a memory of 1600MHz.
Is it possible to somehow run faster memory?

What chipset are you talking about? The memory must be compatible with the processor and supported by the motherboard. Overclocking any chipset does not affect the memory frequency.
