Would it be a good idea to use different container widths depending on the page?
On the desktop version of the site, all page content, except for the navigation, is placed in a 1280px wide container. Usually pages have a lot of images mixed with text, and this container width fits pretty well.
But there are several pages, for example "about the company" or something else, on which there is only text. And such pages with a width of 1280px look bad. The text is stretched, it is inconvenient to read and in general there is some kind of effect of emptiness. As an example, the heading of a text block that is nestled to the left edge of the container looks very lonely and gets lost because there is too much empty space on that horizontal line. And here I would like to shrink all this text, at least in 1024px - this way the page looks better. But for other pages, the width of 1024px is not suitable.
But in this case, when switching between pages, a sharp change in the width of the "page" is striking. How to be in that case?

It's probably best to pad the content to make it look nice at the standard container width, like adding an image.
There is such a thing - a composition that no one has yet canceled: spots, contrasts, zoning of space, asymmetrical balance, etc.
