Working with the registry of a non-working winXP

There is a hard drive with non-working winXP.
Changed the motherboard, but it does not boot.
1. You need to delete some data from her registry;
2. It is necessary to remove some of the devices from the task manager.

How to implement the plan? On the first point, as far as I remember, ERD will help, but I don’t have it at hand - I can’t check it. And what about point 2?

The solution to the problem was this (although not as in the question): a computer was found on which the system booted in safe mode, and then the first 3 steps were taken: forum.ru-board.com/topic.cgi?forum=27&topic=1874&start =927&limit=1&m=1#1

I'm using the Winternals Admin Pack 5.0 CD
Work with the registry, restore, reset passwords and a lot of other useful features.

Generally speaking, take any WinPE (LiveCD) and run regedit in it
. In it, create an empty branch anywhere, into which you can load the hive (Load Hive) by selecting the corresponding dat file from hdd.
There are essentially two ntuser.dat and system.dat, devices and other HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE are in it

1) Hiren's BootCD + Registry Reanimator
2) Registry Restore Wizard (http://viceroy25.tripod.com/)
3) Registry Editor PE (http://sf.net/projects/regeditpe/)
4) Winternals mentioned above with ERD Commander

Before changing the meter, I usually do a sysprep, having previously rolled up the driverpacks. After changing the hardware, when printing, all devices are picked up by themselves.
