Working with Proxmox virtual network adapter, two networks, how to be?

Hello colleagues, please help me, I haven’t worked with networks for a long time, I’m racking my brains, I have Proxmox v4 installed on Debian
I have two VMBR0 networks - with access to the Internet and VMBR2 local network 192.168.0.1/24
There are several dedicated IPs that go to the Internet via VMBR0 , but virtual machines should also have access to the Internet and have access to virtual machines with a dedicated IP, I configured masquerading for VMBR2 through VMBR0 i.e. NAT now machines 192.168.0.1 have access to the Internet but cannot reach virtual machines with a dedicated IP, I I connected a second VMBR2 adapter to virtual machines with a dedicated IP and gave them an iP from the 192.168.0.1 network, now everything works, but it seems to me that this is not correct and can I somehow resolve it all with routes, or am I wrong?
And another question, if on virtual machines that use VMBR2 or VMBR2 and VMBR0 enable a firewall on the VMBR2 interface, then ping to external resources stops going through, although there are no such problems with VMR0, I configured the necessary ports and everything works, what could be the snag?
Thank you!

@Fixid

Two adapters are quite normal, don't worry.
At what level are you turning on the firewall?
