Working through the API. How to do it right with Python?

Scripts receive data via API, scripts are launched via cron.
The demand is growing and in the future we would like to organize two-way and more frequent interaction with different data sources.
In addition, disabling - enabling scripts in the crown is not quite to my liking, I often have to go to the hosting. The more of them, the more likely it is to get confused in all this kotovasiya.
And so the question is - how to do it more competently?
