Working on android scanner via html5?

In the file api in html5, it is possible to specify the field type as file and by clicking on this input ( upload ) a menu opens with the choice of an image capture device (camera), a file manager and a gallery. Is it possible to add a scanner to this list somehow? will he show up there?
