Working hours, how to set up?

Bad thoughts visited my head after the words of the team leader, something like:
"It's written cool, but it doesn't work, the original is written very simply, but it works."
I am a self-critical person, I can “drown myself in a basin with a glass of water” for jambs) and therefore I don’t like to mow.
After a little thought, I came to the conclusion that when developing / refactoring, I slide into "creation" instead of
giving out "not very beautiful, but it works, it's a new iteration, you need to add something here, tie it in, and so on."
I haven’t observed this before, maybe it depends on the PL / framework (I got to the project on angular, earlier js / vuejs / a little php),
can the TS / Angular approach so pervert?
Have you actually experienced something like this? Maybe it's because I'm self-taught? How to fix? Do not ask the team leader to beat on the hands))

This is a normal stage of developer development, usually escalated after reading McConnell, Fowler, and Uncle Bob Martin.
It also happens because the puzzles are boring and you want to somehow entertain yourself.
At one time, the time tracker helped me a lot, I knew the estimate and how much I had already spent, and if the time is almost over, and the solution is somewhere far away, then it's time to look for the right one, not the ideal one.
But, one way or another, sound programmer laziness will prevail, and the accumulated experience will allow you to solve problems right away.
This is also an experience, and many get stuck in this stage for years. The fact that you understand this is very good.
Good luck, colleague))

Best the enemy of the good.
But it doesn’t work, because you delve into the technical aspects of what and how to do, instead of constantly keeping the main task in priority. Well, it looks like you're not testing enough.
