Work in IT without education?

Sobsno, there is a computer, access to the Internet and a great reluctance to plow physical labor.
Are there any alternatives to cleaners, sellers, security guards - in a word, "insects without papers" in IT?

I have no higher education. Turner by trade. I've been a programmer for 5 years now :)

Do not listen to anyone who will say that without education you will not find a job or something like that. A programmer does not need a crust, the main thing is experience and self-education. You choose any area of programming, you study, you program.
Only you can’t go to work abroad, because everywhere you need a higher education, although I don’t really know for sure.

With the modern education system (bribes for diplomas, tests) - in IT they pay more to specific knowledge than to the presence of pieces of paper. To do this, candidates are given test tasks and a certain time to complete them, then they look at the quality of performance and the time spent. If you did it qualitatively and on time, then you have equal chances with the rest.

A company that develops software for mobile phones may need a remote tester via Skype (the device can be sent). The nuances need to be googled and depend on the company.

Without a specialized education, you can be a shit coder or just a coder, and
you will become a programmer when you get the necessary knowledge at the institute

A strange question, in almost any field you can work without education.
Lack of education means a lack of basic theoretical knowledge, and this imposes restrictions on the choice of work performed.
Without knowledge and work experience, you can get a job in IT.
By analogy, how schoolchildren get a job as an assistant to someone there.

This is real! The main thing is to try and achieve your own. It doesn't matter what, it doesn't matter where. The main thing is to believe in yourself! Yes, I'm talking about the psychology of thinking. Force yourself to think differently. Don't believe in failure! They don't exist. In general, something like that! Go work where you feel you will. do not trample - there will be some experience. and so little by little there will be success :) I myself want to work in the IT field. I used to think that the computer is the only thing I can do for fun, but it turned out that my brain is able to learn anything and in any way. So now it’s important for me not just to work in IT, but where to put all my ambitions and at the same time not to blow the brains of my bosses with my crazy development schemes and no less crazy proposals from improving the quality of work not at all in my department to how to put things in order in the kitchen :) Go for it!
