[Wordpress] How to change wp-admin to different address with nginx?

Good afternoon!
There is a blog on Wordpress and a server on nginx
For security reasons, I want to give a 404 error when entering wp-login.php and wp-admin/*.
At the same time, I want to move wp-login.php to log-in.php, and wp-admin/* to root/*
Previously, I installed plugins for this with Apache that set the necessary properties in .htaccess, but I can’t with nginx for now, understand how to write such rules manually in the configuration file.
Help me please.

In general, to be honest, blocking the WordPress admin with basic authentication or changing its location is stupid.
It is much more reliable to use two-factor authentication, fail2ban to block attempts to access the admin panel with wrong passwords, be sure to use HTTPS and, of course, most importantly, strong passwords.
