WordPress as a PHP framework?

I would like to know your opinion about using WordPress as a framework for the project. Compared to currently popular PHP frameworks, how difficult/long is it to build an average WordPress project using WP as a framework and not as a CMS?

Only self-writing, only hardcore, otherwise it's best to take Yii2.

Drupal is more suitable for this concept.
But if you need a framework, it's better to take a framework :)

You can, but it's a wild perversion. In general, the admin panel in WP is not bad, but the architecture is a quiet horror. Yes, and giving access to the client in the admin panel is a horror. Especially if he can control something important from it, such as caching, etc.

And how can you use CMS as a framework, and not as a CMS?
In general, it all depends on the task.

Wordpress is great for a blog, a business card site, a small information portal, but for something more you need to take a more powerful tool, such as drupal. At the expense of the framework, this is complete nonsense.

Regarding your question about good frameworks - laravel is very good!
You should like it.

I also wrote on WP for a long time, used various plugins, wrote it myself, but the level of abstraction is quite high and there is no understanding of how everything happens inside, and because of this there may be overlays, both in terms of system performance and overall performance.
A lesser level of abstraction is the use of frameworks rather than downgrading the CMS to a framework.
And now I’m studying, simultaneously developing on Yii2, there were several projects on the first Yii, but the second edition went very well and it took a couple of days to study / master the basic things.
I looked towards other frameworks, but so far I don’t see the point of switching for myself, except for broadening my horizons
