Woocommerce or OpenCart?

I wanted to ask you. I work as a freelancer and make websites on WP, now I started to actively study the online store as there are many projects, and I can’t decide which is the best to use OpenCart or WordPress + Woocomerce, it seems that I don’t know the Wordpress engine well, and I have experience working with WP, but in Woocomerce, I can’t understand why hooks are so complicated, there are no functions to use, and so you have to untie the hook and then bind it to change the priority, etc.
In general, it’s somehow difficult for a store on Woocomerce, as I understand it, there is no documentation for OpenCart and paid modules (I might have made a mistake, I didn’t work with this CMS). So I wanted to ask you, as an experienced programmer, what are the best ones to use for an online store?

WooCommerce is #1 in the ecommerce marketplace in the world. In the Russian Federation, it is still weak due to the lack of many integration modules with Russian systems. But the situation is gradually improving. There are already 1C, MoySklad, Yandex Money, PAW, Yandex Delivery, SDEK ... this solves 90% of the problems. If you don’t be smart with rare systems, then you can work on standard solutions.
Its architecture is complex. If you don’t know what the essence of the mechanics of EDA, EAV, etc. is, plus you don’t understand the source code well, then it’s better not to touch the development at all. You can pretty easily make the coolest magazines on typical components with no programming or almost no programming.
If you know how to code and read source codes, then the architecture there is very flexible. Any problem can be solved. Generally any. But not everyone is smart enough for it.
Most programmers, due to the limited mind, think that it is necessary to program the site. And this is not so. You need to take WP + WooCommerce + Storefront theme. And on this bundle without programming, try launching. By adding plugins only if you can't do without them. This gives a stylish, modern, responsive store. Which is better than 90% of large stores in the Russian Federation.
But our people are unique. They start programming (without intelligence and experience), install all plugins without hygiene. Then you get a monster-shit-site that barely moves. Then they begin to tell that WP is bullshit. Although the reason is only a lack of intelligence and experience - errors in decisions.
