Withdrawing money from the Google Play Console?

Together with a colleague, we created an application that is sold on Google Play, the account is registered to me. The application is currently completely transferred to a colleague and he wants to receive payment to his bank account.
Will Google pay to the bank account of another person? Or does the name have to match the name on which the developer account was verified?
Google didn't find any info on this.
