Withdrawing funds from odesk/elance?

Hello, I'm going to start working on these freelance exchanges, but the payment and withdrawal process is a little unclear. I heard something about Payoneer, but I didn’t understand what and how. How does payment work there, in what ways you can withdraw funds. Is there any internal account on the exchange?
Similar questions have already been discussed, but everywhere either about a specific method of output, or too vague.

There is an internal account, you can keep up to 1000 bucks on it, if more is
withdrawn by the method that you have chosen by default
