With what program can I make a 5-10 second preview of a video?

I searched and searched everything already, maybe I’m not looking for it. How to make a video preview (mp4) like on gaming.youtube.com in webm. Maybe someone is busy with a program or a script. I found only VTM (video thumbnails maker), but it is buggy and does not save the preview itself separately from the picture grid. Thanks

maybe ffmpeg ? This is if you do not mount the video, but somehow algorithmically figure out that, for example, take 5 seconds starting from the 1st minute, and 5 seconds 5 minutes before the end. Or the entire long video is proportionately crammed into 10 seconds.

As far as I remember, the movavi editor itself has a similar functionality. he often used this feature to create previews for his vids on the channel. basically a great program
