With the choice of a server for a medium office?

Colleagues, help out, help pick up a server machine for the following tasks.
Domain controller
Searched, read, there is an option to start on Debian
ESET NOD32 Smart Security Business Edition
Declared support for Debian
Consultant Plus
Works only on Windows
1C: Enterprise 7.7
Works on files, can be attributed to Samba. The accounting department does not want to switch to branch 8 (MySQL support).
File storage
Samba, FTP
Asterisk
OpenVPN
Will work under two systems Debian, Windows Server 2008 *.
I contacted a local HP partner and they suggested this configuration.
* - a great desire to get rid of the acquisition and use of Windows.

What is a "middle office in a vacuum"? How many users at least?

No need. You can't do a normal PDC on Samba, you still can't get away from Win, because. seven odynes and consultant. Therefore, do the domain controller on win, because the users sit on win, as I understand it, otherwise why the controller?
The main load will be created by 1C, I would not fence everything on one server, at least a reserve is needed. You need to take two servers with a lot of RAM and raise a virtualization server (ESX, Xen, KVM) there, one server is the main one, the second is a backup.
Option number 2 is to take four physical servers simpler, on one pair of Linux economy, on the second pair - Windows, or simply scatter them into roles. One server is more powerful, for 1s with a database, others are simpler, because DC, file cleaning, consultant and the rest will not require a lot of resources.
Taking one big server and piling everything on it at once is wrong. In the event of a hardware or logic crash (the OS crashes or the admin messes up), you will lose all services simultaneously and for a long time.

Is it necessary to take server hardware for such tasks?
You can take any I7 or 6 nuclear athlone.
Performance will be several times faster.
The OS can be installed on an SSD.
And about 100k r. Does this not include the cost of the software?

will you reboot Windows Server 2008? Or do you mean virtualization? then IMHO the machine is rather weak
