Windows7+Roaming Profile+Exceptions?
Good day. Dear, please help me to solve the problem. Win7Pro SP1 x64 system with the latest updates. Domain included (Samba 3.6). I cannot use group policy to exclude any of the "AppData\Roaming" subfolders from the roaming profile. I can exclude from the root of the profile, from the desktop, from anywhere, but not from “AppData\Roaming”. When browsing the profile, I found "junction point": "Application Data" pointing to "AppData\Roaming". Added the exception path and relative to it, but that didn't help either. For example:
Parameter value:
AppData\Roaming\SomeFolder;Application Data\SomeFolder;Desktop\Локальная

Now, you should exclude those directories from roaming, using either the registry or the Group Policy Editor. I chose to do this through the default user's HKCU registry hive, since Vista no longer checks/obeys the Group Policy.
